DWH BI consultant/analyst @ Teradata Corporation

Position Description:

Teradata is a global leader in data warehouse field. The Global Consulting Centre in Prague is providing its consultants to the largest and most sophisticated data warehouse (DWH) projects across EMEA region as for example in Austria, Italy, Sweden, Russia, UK, France, Czech Rep, etc.

We are looking for consultants performing various BI tasks like analyses, database and architecture design, gathering business requirements, creating testing and implementation scenarios, creating and delivering BI reports and services, etc.

Responsibilities and Duties of BI consultant / Analyst:

   Performing data warehouse BI tasks for large projects (database design, business analyses, defining business requirements);

   Building data warehouse (DWH) competency;

   Deliver business and application specific consulting services included in the integrated Teradata solutions;

   Providing mapping and design of customer’s business needs to the Teradata database;

   Supporting the pre-sale process as well as client communication;

Necessarry Requirements:

   Minimal 2 years of experience in DWH projects;

   Good understanding of BI concepts and DWH architecture;

   SQL knowledge;

   Experience with database systems such as Teradata, Oracle or MSSQL in similar position (analysis, database object design, creating reports, gathering customer’s requirements, source-to-target mapping);

   Excellent Data Warehousing design/development skills and good technical judgment;

   Willingness to relocate to Prague (Czech Rep.) and travel abroad;

   Advanced English;

   EU Citizenship;

Advantages:

   Proven record of participation on bigger DWH projects;

   Experience in banking or telco industry;

   Familiar with CASE modelling;

   Understanding of source-to-target mapping concepts;

   Knowledge of any OLAP tool (Cognos, Microstrategy, Business Objects);

   Experience with Teradata Tools and Utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, BTEQ, FastExport);

   Knowledge of any other European language (eg. Italian, Russian or German);
