We are offering a position to candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
University degree in Information Technology
Technical skills in the following domains are essential:
Expertise in Solaris10 administration (jumpstart/flash, system maintenance and tuning, problem analysis, etc.) with appropriate certification
Expertise in RedHat 5 (kickstart, system maintenance and tuning, problem analysis, etc.) with appropriate certification
Expertise in Symantec Volume Manager
Expertise in Symantec Cluster Server
Good knowledge of VMWare (management of ESX servers in cluster)
Good network administration skills
5+ years in System Administration in a highly critical environment
Additional skills in one or more of the following areas will be of advantage:
Knowledge of Oracle administration
Knowledge of SAN administration (in a CISCO and EMC environment)
Good knowledge of Sun SPARC, HP x86, Fujitsu x86 platforms (including blade technology)
The following interpersonal skills are essential
Fluency in English and German
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a team
Ability to work in a highly critical production environment
Willingness to get expertise on new technologies
Willingness to travel to Luxembourg for 3-6 months
