Summary
Creates and modifies web applications and their parts according to the specification, converting project requirements into code.

Primary Responsibilities
• Confirm project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with analyst and/or supervisor
• Finding solutions for various tasks
• Performance tuning of data- and load-intensive web applications
• Testing functionality according to the specification
• Creating object models
• Coding HTML templates for new websites
• Optimizing advanced UI elements
• Confirm code operation by conducting tests
• Other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities
• Writing documentation of own code
• Preparing a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and
logic
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies
• Willing to learn new things
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Required Knowledge and Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fluent English or Czech, preferably both
• General Programming Skills
• PHP Object Programming at advanced level
• JavaScript knowledge at advanced level
• Valid HTML and CSS and their browser support
• Analyzing Information, Problem Solving
• Algorithm Design, Performance Tuning, Debugging
• Attention to Detail

Preferred Knowledge and Skills
• Experience with revision systems and project mgmt tools
• SQL knowledge
• Experience with e-commerce
• Symfony, Magento and Joomla frameworks
• HTML5 and CSS3 (incl. web workers, transitions etc.)
• Experience with Amazon EC2
• Basic knowledge of Linux
