As a Front-End Developer, you write HTML, CSS and Javascript to develop new features and improve the existing ones that work cross-browser and cross-platform, are simple, easy-to-use and focus on customers.
Your job is to implement the user interfaces across our properties, making sure they are usable, functional, work well and load fast.
You drive innovation in our front-end development by setting up standards, advocating the latest industry trends and building the next-generation web applications.
You work in line with the established brand guidelines and standards within the team, whose ultimate goals are to drive brand loyalty, improve product sales and market share, and to contribute to creation of meaningful and enduring interrelationships with customers and users. You also work closely with the engineering, project and product management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, suggest and implement the best approaches and techniques to be used keeping the focus on low resource consumption
• Based on design specifications set up and maintain the guidelines for the code library
• Create and maintain custom themes and templates for Sitefinity, WP, etc.
• Validate code according to W3C specifications
• Optimize code for cross-browser, cross-platform and cross-device
• Educate the team members on technical constrains relevant to their work

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrates expert skills in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript / Ajax
• Delivers clean, semantic and bug-free code for production
• Good understanding of graceful degradation concepts
• Ability to coordinate pixel perfect code based on design specs with back-end requirements
• Working knowledge of command line and version control (preferably SVN)
• Working knowledge of office (e.g., MS Office or iWorks) and design (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) software
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Be a creative thinker and problem solver with a keen attention to detail
• Good organizational skills and ability to adhere to tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and within a team, work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a wide range of people from different parts of the business

Preferred Qualifications

• Has a good understanding of best usability and accessibility practices
• Working knowledge of best SEO practices
• Previous experience with server-side web frameworks such as PHP or ASP.Net
• Previous experience with any of the following: E-Commerce and complex web apps; Responsive and mobile interfaces; Templating systems; Management of maintainable, scalable and cross-browser compatible code across large sites; A/B testing; Localization best practices;
