Job purpose
The ING SOC delivers SIEM (Security Information Event Management), research and Information Security expertise to the internal organization. Security Analysts are responsible for day to day evaluation of the company’s security posture, security event analysis, development of security intelligence, and for recommending response to incidents such as data compromise, malware infections, policy violations and network attacks.
Main responsibilities
• As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for steering the day-to-day focus of security monitoring, designing content and tools to counter specific threats and coaching junior team members.
• Participate in a security operation deployed to detect and respond to security events in ING’s internal infrastructure.
• Triage security incidents, including breaches, network attacks and malware outbreaks.
• Improve the security posture by own research, tool development and training.
• Advocate for security in the organization. Own and lead initiatives to improve the security posture.
Requirements
• BA/BS or Master’s in Computer Science or related field
• Programming experience in C, Perl or Python
• Experience in related areas of information security, such as penetration testing, cryptography is big plus
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge of ArcSight is advantage
