As the Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting internal SW and HW infrastructure. You will be part of Ataccama support group and will work closely with the development and support teams.
Key responsibilities:

- Supporting the entire Ataccama SW and HW infrastructure: from data center, power and hardware purchases to operating systems, networking, provisioning, and monitoring
- Backup/restore operations, firewall configuration and monitoring, management of network devices (printers, network drives) in Prague office
- Provide operations and support teams with specific knowledge about infrastructure
- Continuously identify areas for improvement and work to improve the stability, availability, and performance of the platform

Desired qualifications:

- In-depth knowledge of Linux, UNIX, and MS Windows systems with knowledge of Debian- and Redhat-based distribution customizations
- Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMWare, OpenVZ, or Xen)
- Experience running common web stacks such as nginx, Apache, Tomcat, and DBs such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
- Monitoring and alerting tools, technologies, and best practices using software such as nagios (optional)
- Solid shell scripting skills
- Very good written and verbal communication skills

Data center infrastructure

- Knowledge of server hardware including Intel CPUs, RAID controllers, NICs, and hardware management modules (optional)
- Knowledge of infrastructure protocols and daemons such as PXE, DHCP, DNS, and NFS (optional)

Networking

- Experience analysing and troubleshooting network connectivity (optional)
- Knowledge of network and routing protocols
- CISCO networking, CISCO IOS (optional)
- Network and application-level firewalls (optional)

Typical experience

- 1 year as an IT administrator
