R&D Design Engineer Job description - Design and develop products starting from new feeding and conveying from given market demand specifications and in accordance with industry standards - Cooperation with other group departments for the procurement and manufacturing of the designed new products - Assist in test program for final new product - Maintain documentation and specifications for existing products - Permanent identification of cost reductions potentials without impacting quality for existing and new products and implementation of cost reduction steps together with manufacturing - Providing ideas for new products and roadmaps - Establish project scopes for products you will be assigned to - Monitor and report progress of assigned projects - Limited international travel - Interactions with customer and answer technical queries and involvement in troubleshooting at plant site Requirements - Minimum 4 years of experience with product design - Master degree in mechanical engineering - Knowledge of SolidWorks (Autodesk Inventor or others 3D software) - English spoken and written form (minimum B1 level) is a must - Driving licence – active driver - Team-oriented personality Preferred qualifications - Working knowledge of applicable EC standards - Specialization in mechanical conveying - Knowledge of FEA tools - Strong ability to interact with Sales department to create consensus and acceptance of design focus (market demand focus) - Ability to properly document product releases to provide a convenient method for Sales and the customer to utilize the device - Must be assertive and efficient with a self-motivated work ethic - Excellent communication and analytical problem solving skills required Benefits - Work within a worldwide acting R&D Team for the Schenck Process Group - Financial stable Group background - Interesting salary package - Possible prospect to a product manager position - English language course - Social program kontakt Eva Dupacova Sales Department Schenck Process s.r.o.
