Ocean Pricing Analyst in Expeditors International CR s.r.o.

Tasks

RFQs
 Manage the ocean pricing for RFQs from within the Europe/Africa.
 Manage the Europe/Africa ocean pricing for RFQs generated in other regions.
 Meet deadlines set by customers and sales/geo on responding to pricing requests.
 Work with and coach sales/geo staff to properly qualify bids.
 Track and report the results of RFQs.

Analysis of Rates
 Review and analyze carrier rates.
 Review feedback from sales/geo on rate competitiveness.
 Report results of analysis to Directors.
 In conjunction with Directors, work with carriers to keep rates fresh and competitive.

Rate & Surcharge Maintenance
 Maintain rate databases.
 Maintain and distribute GRI and surcharge information.
 Maintain diary system to flag expiring rate agreements and contracts.
General Support
 Provide general support for sales/geo on air and ocean pricing.
 Provide other general pricing support as specified by the Ocean Directors.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements
 Excellent communication skills.
 Very detail oriented.
 Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
 Competency in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.
 Understanding of ocean operations.
 Thorough understanding of ocean and airfreight pricing.
