Data Analyst – Data Migration

Currently we seek a suitable candidate for the position of Data Analyst – Data Migration to support our IT Programme team.

Job Description:

Coordination and direction of data mapping source(s) to target
Analysis, issue resolution and producing business transformation rules for ETL
Working with 3rd party suppliers
Solution design for aspects of migration, i.e. History, in flight, Bonuses etc.
Identifying and articulating risks, issues, dependencies
Input to Design and Build (Build will include business processes re-engineering)
Detailed documentation of migration deliverables, requirements gathering
Stakeholder management
Producing test plan and testing scripts

Requirements:

End to end experience of enterprise scale migration
Demonstrable background in data mapping and best practices at a technical level
Significant change program experience within an online business, where core platform replacements has been part of the deliverables
Demonstrable experience in migration approach and methodology
Proven experience of assisting in delivering IT Projects in dynamic environments incl. delivery of online and mobile projects with diverse, international teams
Experience of working within a variety of project frameworks and methodologies, delivering application, web and mobile projects
Detailed knowledge and experience in IT related business projects which involve multiple activities and streams of people from both IT and business teams, ideally in a high transaction e-commerce organization
Exposure of the use automated tools to assist in the project management process, by automating mechanical tasks such as scheduling, resource balancing, and time recording e.g. MS Project
Experience within the gaming sector an advantage
