Ve čtyřiadvacátém díle Audire prozkoumáme vývoj, kterým si v mezičase prošel dub. V osmdesátých létech se jeho ohnisko začalo postupně přesouvat do Británie, kde fúzoval s tak rozličnými žánry jako funk, electro nebo punk a jenž se postupně stal základním stavebním kamenem pro britský hip-hop, trip-hop nebo jungle. Nezapomeneme se ale také ohlédnout za jeho vlivem v USA, Japonsku i jinde po světě.

In the twenty-fourth installment of Audire we are going to explore the progression of dub, happening in the meantime. In the 1980s, the main focal point started to move to Britain where it fused with a variety of genres like funk, electro or punk, and which gradually became the basic building block for British hip-hop, trip-hop or jungle. We’re also not going to leave out to look bac kat its influence in the USA, Japan, or elsewhere.

Ve třiadvacátém díle Audire se vrátíme na americkou scénu a ukážeme si, jak se elektronická technologie odrazila v rockové hudbě 80. let. Prozkoumáme blíže elektroindustriál a zastavíme se i u z něj odvozené fúze s afroamerickou hudbou, souhrnně nazývané avant-funk. Hlavně se nebát samplovat!

In the twenty-third installment of Audire we return to the american scene and we will demonstrate how the electronic technology influenced rock music of the 1980s. We are going to closely examine electroindustrial and we will also stop by its fusion with Afroamerican music collectively called avant-funk. Just have no fear of sampling!

Ve dvaadvacátém díle Audire si posvítíme na dvě zajímavé evropské scény druhé poloviny 80. let – belgický New Beat a frankfurtský Technoclub. Obě scény mají společné to, že vznikly na pozadí euro-disco struktur, přišly ale s mnohem tvrdším zvukem, ve kterém se spojila electronic body music a acid house. A vznikla z toho směsice syntetického rokenrolu, dystopické sci-fi a laciného porna. Electrica salsa!

In the twenty-second installment of Audire we are going to take a look at two interesting European scenes of the second half of the 80s – Belgian New Beat and Technoclub of Frankfurt. Both scenes have one thing in common – they evolved within euro-disco structures but they came with much harder sound where electronic body music meets acid house. And it resulted in mixture of synthetic rock’n’roll, dystopian sci-fi and cheap porn. Electrica salsa!

V jednadvacátém pokračování Audire přichází řada na Electronic Body Music – styl, ve kterém se potkali experimentální punkeři se splašenými depešáky a který na taneční parket přinesl témata z metalu a dystopické science fiction. A v té souvislosti budeme pokukovat i po industriální scéně, ve které se pod vlivem miniaturizace tónových generátorů postupně rodí elektroindustriál. Očekávejte plynové masky, nepolitickou politiku a pokusy na lidech. Varovali jsme vás.

In the twenty-first installment of Audire the time has come for Electronic Body Music – style, in which experimental punks meet the harebrained Depeche Mode fans, and which brought metal and dystopic science-fiction themes onto the dancefloor. In this context, we are going to taka sneak peek to the industrial scene where, under the influence of tone generator miniaturization, electroindustrial is gradually being born. Expect gasmasks, non-political politics and human experiments. You have been warned.

V již devatenáctém pokračování Audire si představíme fenomén remixu – způsobu, jak vytvořit unikátní dílo z instrumentální verze původní skladby a zároveň ušetřit za kapelu. Prozkoumáme jeho vznik v rámci jamajského dubu i amerického disca, a z něho vyplývající příchod house music – monotónnější verze boogie, která navždy přepsala pravidla tanečního parketu. Od té doby již na diskotékách DJ nebude konferenciérem představujícím hrané skladby, ale aranžérem nepřerušovaného proudu hudby v neměnném tempu.

In the nineteenth installment of Audire already, we are going to introduce the remixing phenomenon – the way how to create a unique work from the instrumental version of an original track, and to spare money off the band. We will explore its origins in the context of Jamaican dub and American disco and the consequent arrival of house music – monotonous variant of boogie which rewrote the dancefloor rules forever. Since that time, DJ wouldn’t be a presenter introducing songs played anymore, but the composer of a continuous stream of music in unchanging tempo.

Drobná bilance letošního roku... Vystoupilo u nás 198 živých projektů z 19 zemí světa, proběhl bezpočet DJ setů,
přednášek, projekcí, hodin jógy, workshopů... Prolita byla krev, slzy, pot, i pálenka. Vydali jsme 2 kazety, navařili
sirupy a hektolitry polévek...Moc děkujeme všem kteří nám pomáhají, aktivně podporují kulturu anebo i jen
chodí na koncerty a vytváří domáckou atmosféru Puncta. Cílem kultury by mělo být pečovat a rozvíjet ducha,
takže i v příštím roce nás čeká spousta práce...
