Nabídka práce - Senior Application Support Specialist

type: full-time

To deliver Application support for logistics applications, in order to ensure the maximum availability and quality of these services to the customer. Participation on projects (testing and deployments of the new releases).

RESPONSIBILITIES:
In cooperation with other team members:

• Work on tickets (Incidents, Requests for Information, Requests for standard change) and ensuring that
resolution is delivered on time to the customer – Incident Management
• Investigate problems and together with developers and 3rd party vendors find the Root Cause and proper
Solution for these problems - Problem Management
• Provide proactive investigation and maintenance of the systems - Availability Management
• Participate on projects relevant to services supported by team (testing and deployments
of the new releases and required changes)

REQUIREMENTS:
• Good knowledge of Unix-based systems (Linux, HP-UX)
• Good Knowledge of SQL
• Basic DB knowledge (Oracle is preferred)
• Knowledge of Windows-based systems

Advantage will be additional experience in any of the following technologies:
• Oracle Weblogic
• Shell scripting
• Java environment (no programming required)

OTHER SKILLS:
• Strong customer focus
• Very good analytical thinking

• English - written and spoken
• Experience with support of IT systems
