As a system administrator in our company, you’ll give us a helping hand with a wide array of tasks. Setup of internal and public infrastructure as well as laptops, automation, monitoring, responding to tickets submitted by your colleagues, and so forth. Knowledge of Linux is an absolute must. On the other hand, you don’t need to have a lifetime of experience - genuine interest in Nix/NixOS and passion for the craft are far more important to us. And what are the technologies you’ll work with? NixOS, Morph, Prometheus, Git and GitLab, to name a few.

What will your duties be?

- as far as regular tasks go, expect things like:
      - infrastructure deployment and automation
      - documentation of infrastructure and processes
      - resolution of various tickets
- setup and maintenance of your colleagues’ laptops will be another integral part of your job
- in addition to your day-to-day agenda, you'll also take part in the onboarding process of newcomers, handing over hardware and credentials, explaining best practices, etc.
- last but not least, you’ll help us with overall automation

What makes you the perfect candidate?

- you know what it means to take ownership over your work
- you have deep knowledge of Linux systems (various different distributions)
- you’re well familiar with Git
- you’ve used some monitoring tools before (preferably Prometheus)
- previous experience with CI/CD will be a huge plus, same with virtualization (oVirt/RHV or similar)
