Alberto Novello a.k.a. JesterN is a scientist, composer, sound and video artist born in Udine,
and living in the Netherlands.

''The focus of my practice has always been on how humans perceive sound and music: what unconscious
mechanisms are hidden there, how can I alter one’s perception through sound, what is the role of the context,
what are the effects of sound on our emotions, what associations do they suggest. I have been researching
all those aspects since I was very young using all possible means at my reach: music compositions, sound
and video works, workshops, scientific research and perceptual experiments. In my works I am interested in
understanding, testing and exposing the tricky mechanisms of human perception in a broad sense: from
synaesthesic associations between sound, video and movement, to the use of aural laws of stream segregation
to deform sound properties, from the externalization of the intricate mechanisms of human brain, to the small
details of sound properties and acoustics. Embedding reflections on human perception into my works allows me
to direct the information in a rather objective way to the audience, with the precise intent to reach and tickle their
attention. This is for me a way to sometimes show the limitations of our senses, or to expose our bodies' internal
architecture and deep functionalities, or just to play with the audience's cognition of the world.''

Nano Tone (Carl Warwick (UK) & Reed Jones (US)) formed in late 2016 with a desire to make electronic music.
Armed with five synthesizers, three drum machines and a bunch of effects units from 80's to the present,
they ploughed headlong into the genres of electronic dance with shards of experimental, ambient and synthwave.

Scannt is a day-dreamer fascinated by sound, be it natural ambience of synthetic textures. He focuses on hypnotic
and atmospheric elements accompanied by slow, sometimes glitchy beats that translate into a tranquil feelings.
