Jeho kariéra začala v 17 letech v roce 1978 rezidencí v disco clubu 2001 Oddysey v Brooklinu kde se natáčel film Horečka sobotní noci neboli Saturday night fever s legendárním Johnem Travoltou. Ralphie ve filmu ztvárnil dje a druhá noc po této noci plné techna bude věnována právě výročí 40ti let Saturday night fever ...
Na konci osmdesátých let se Ralphie také potkal s vlnou rave parties a z jeho dílny vyšlo opravdu mnoho desek od pomalých až po úplné hardcore výplachy. Jeho bratrem v branži se kterým Ralphie velmi úzce spolupracoval je také velmi známý Lenny Dee který již v ČR hrál pár let zpět. Většina oldskoolových posluchačů jistě zná staré cds Thunderdome a Terrordrum na kterých pravidelně vycházeli jeho skladby. V devadesátých letech byl headlinerem několika velikých parties a festivalů a sekundovali mu takové jména jako Laurent Garnier a mnoho dalších dnes legendami opředených hvězd. má vydáno více jak 250 titulů na deskách což je opravdu mnoho.

Snad jen dodám co Ralphie napsal ke svému setu když jsem ho požádal o to aby to pojmul undergroundově :)

here is a short bio Ralphie Dee found himself smack dab in the middle of the disco boom at the ripe old age of 17 when he became the resident DJ at 2001 Odyssey in Brooklyn, the club where Saturday Night Fever was filmed. It was there in the heyday of 1978 to 1980 thousands flocked to 2001 and were treated to Ralphie's legendary DJ sets. many of the records played at 2001 were heard for the first time by thousands of people.

From there he began doing guest spots on New York's WKTU " Studio 92" which aired Saturday nights from 10 till 1am, then working thru the 80's at some of New Yorks best and most popular clubs.

In 1989 he began a serious push into the recording industry and helped pave the way for what was later called hardcore techno, after co producing the worldwide hit "The Realm" this lead to playing guest DJ spots across Europe and Asia for nearly 10 years from 1990 to 2000. From 2001 to 2005 ralphie ran the U.S. distribution for UDG which were the biggest and most well know DJ Gear company in the world and he started his label New York Grooves. ralphie still plays and has a monthly residency at Pastels In New York.
