We are looking for a young enthusiastic PHP/MySQL/JS web developer to join the team on steady freelance basis and co-develop and maintain our online platform in a small team of developers led by a CTO.

We are a US based internet start-up company developing unique patented online entertainment products in the area of music/video/online TV. We are looking for a young enthusiastic PHP/MySQL/JS web developer to join the team on steady freelance basis and co-develop and maintain our online platform in a small team of developers led by a CTO.
The job requires experience in online development with PHP, MySQL AND JS (jQuery and Ajax). The person should work well in a virtual office team and strong affinity online entertainment products is a plus.

The candidate will be responsible for:
- co-developing new features for our platform
- working on support issues (bug fixing)

Required skills:
- PHP, MySQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS
- jQuery, Ajax
- experience in working with source control, svn (git is a plus)
- experience in Java or Ruby on Rails is a plus
- knowledge in design patterns (MVC, OOP) is a plus
- can work under CTO (Tech Lead), code conventions and code reviews
- is able to work with goals and clear dead lines
- proven coding experience in the required fields
- good understanding of latest web development techniques
- 4-5 days a week working from home or own office
- available for weekly conference calls through Skype
- good level English communication skills (talking & writing)
- self motivated and pro-active to bring ideas and results

We are NOT looking for "website developers" that are used to working with existing CMS frameworks like Drupal, Wordpress or Joomla. Our platform uses its own technology and requires extensive knowledge of web application development/programming in the area of PHP, JS and
