Item: CD253 RARE EROTICA FROM QING DYNASTY
c. A.D. 1755 - 1815. Ancient Chinese erotica is rarely seen. These four porcelain panels are 5 x 7 1/2" and from the early to mid 19th century. The 18th century mark on the back is Quanlong. The Emperor Quanlong was the 4th emperor of the Qing Dynasty. He ascended to the throne at age 7, ruled 60 years, 1735 - 1795, and was one of the greatest emperors in history. These panels were remade in the 19th century from the 17th century Quanlong artifacts. They are a much desired, better made artifact that have a lot of history. $1,800.00 for the set of 4.

Khajuraho - A UNESCO world heritage site in central India, Khajuraho is a famous tourist and archaeological site known for its sculptured temples dedicated to Shiva, Vishnu, and Jain patriarchs. Khajuraho extended over 21 sq. km and contained about 85 temples built by multiple rulers from about 950 to 1050.

Some of these friezes also depict the sort of erotic art for which Khajuraho is famous. This group is in a particularly conspicuous place--it is the very first panel on the temple's southern side--and would have been immediately visible to anyone circling the base of the temple, a common ritual practice. Such placement clearly shows that the temple's creators wanted these scenes to be visible.

a vubec, už mi příjdou ty japonský obrázky trochu jednotvárný, tak já to téma trochu uvolním - a prostě na tento měsíc bude námět erotična v pojetí všech asijskejch kultur... Shungu sem klidně dávejme dál, ale proč to neudělat pestřejší, to předjaří,)
