Electronic music opens the listener up to something that “transcends man, the subject, or the person” (Cox). Based on this aesthetic program, on his debut album Dominik Paß sets out to draw abstract soundscapes which, intractably captivating, seek to transcend the realm of the ordinary (hence the title, transcendere), and to carry us off into the strange, abstract world of electronic music...
