The tracks on "Heavy Weights" really keep their promise.
Each song has its own little world with plenty of room and its own life. And Glander takes a lot of time for these songs. The length of them seems to be unusual at the first glance but soon you'll understand that this is part of their secret.
The tracks are captivating, some even hyptnotising. Hearing them, you will move your feet unconsciously. But you cannot make out their style: There are four fourths, of course, but they are too bassy and dark to be House - and too smooth for being Techno.
Nevertheless, it doesn't matter: The tracks will take you on a dive cruise, each of them has its own little valley and its own moon. So: Take your time.

Xynthetic Netlabel's latest free-to-downloed EP from Sascha Mueller, entitled 'Total Destruction' is nearly 20 minutes of down-and-dirty, crunched out, lock-groove Techno. The opening track "Nuklearer Winter" builds around a subtle bass-driven groove with deceptively simple modulations and changes. "Ear Drill" follows with more direct 'Stockholm' jack, but underpinned with the dirty bass sound to match the rest of the EP. The appropriately titled "Deep & Dirty" closes the release with distorted, delayed, and damaged rhythms... this is a dirty 909 workout topped with a corroded acid line. These are compelling, dancefloor-ready munitions that any well prepareds Techno DJ should have in their arsenal.

Ludwig Coenen is a Dj and producer born in Frankfurt. As a Dj he has work in remarkable clubs in his home town, as well as in Berlin. His sets appear monthly in the X-Fade DJ Night in Radio X, in Frankfurt. Since 2003 he also composes and writes on musical tendencies and dvds for DE:BUG magazine. As a producer he has undergo different collaborations for Highgrade and Senator labels. A new track will appear soon in a compilation of the label Inmigrant, and he will have his new E.p. released by Senator. In all this trip we also find his productions for Pentagonik NetLabel.

In this Aspect Ratio E.p., his debut in Flumo, Ludgig Coenen preserves his trend among house and techno as a stylistic base. His evocative melodic constructions always contrast his simple but precious drummings and hypnotic low lines and the evolutive constructive cadence that create altogether the delicious strain, Frankfurt artist’s way. Aspect Ratio ends with a JacksonBlack’s remix of the track that gives tittle to the E.p. Jxnblk dissects Aspect Ratio to provide it with new shades and arrangements closed to the American.
