Séria štyroch výstav a štyroch diskusií vznikla v snahe prehĺbiť diskusiu o fenoméne „privátneho nacionalizmu“, ktorý sa ukazuje byť novým a vitálnym nositeľom tradičných ideologických obsahov z čias politických zápasov o budovanie „národného štátu“. Nesledujeme preto líniu veľkých historických okamihov ako míľnikov v súbojoch veľkej politiky. Naopak, zaujímajú nás spôsoby a procesy, v rámci ktorých dochádza k scitliveniu a subjektívnemu prekladu dôsledkov dejinných drám do prirodzeného sveta obyčajného človeka.

Otázka pritom ostáva stále rovnaká – čo je dobré pre štát a čo je dobré pre jednotlivca?

Sometimes a haircut* makes things worse. Sometimes it doesnt!

*The new Greek government, lead by SYRIZA and including the Greek Greens, aims to end austerity and negotiate a "haircut" for the Troika. This means that part of the Greek sovereign debt would be cancelled, allowing the government to invest in the economy, improve the situation and then pay off the rest of the debt, instead of the current path where more austerity worsens social and economic conditions and makes the debt problem even worse.

This political protest made reference to the Tate’s use of black marks in redacting information in minutes from an internal meeting about its sponsorship deal with the energy company BP (formerly British Petroleum), which the gallery is being asked to disclose after legal action brought by the group.
