This photo of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil went absolutely bonkers on Instagram this week. And as wild as this shot is, photographer Fernando Braga says the process of shooting it was relatively simple. "The camera was shooting long exposures shots one after the other continuously. At the moment of the strike, it was using a 13" with f/8 ISO 100. I started the shooting session at around 16h and ended after 20h30. The timelapse, I made with the last 500 photos taken starting around 18h. The strike happened at 18h55."
