Helvetica was born in 1957 from the hands of Max Miedinger in Switzerland and became the most widely used sans-serif typeface of the new century. In the film, Wim Crouwel states that “we were impressed by that because it was more neutral, and neutralism was a word that we loved”, outlining one of the key qualities of the Helvetica family.
