Most people probably won't remember this article, or failed to read it in the first place. It's about Farah in 2010 when he was double European champ and also ranked #24, and training primarily in a basic camp in the Rift Valley.

His philosophy and the camp itself, so basic and organic, which he had been doing since 2006, is so diametrically opposed to the NOP project that it's hard to even make sense of who Mo Farah is.
In the article you hear his respect toward the East Africans viewing running as their only escape, and how impoverished they are. He almost seems extraordinarily humble and respectful. But in a span of a few months he left that philosophy to have an alter-G and play FIFA tournaments with spoiled Galen till 5am? Oh, and do airplane finish-line moves as he beats his former East Africans running to "survive". His words.
