Replicants is the first full-length album from MillionYoung. This album is already being touted as an early front runner for best new music in 2011 by certain tastemakers, and I think it is better than anyone realizes yet. Replicants is an album of the truest form, it progresses from gentle electronic jams at the beginning to full on pop songs in the middle to a fantastic dance pop explosion near the end. In fact, "Synathropic" is one of the best songs on the album, it could easily be the album opener instead of the closer. That's the genius that is Replicants. It's a full-on electronic pop record, with influences ranging from Prince and Michael Jackson to Aphex Twin and Spritualized. It's a conglomeration of styles and sounds blending into one build up of a great album.
