Barcelona's Sagrada Família cathedral was transformed during the city's La Mercè festival when Montreal media studio, Moment Factory bathed the iconic building in a psychedelic sea of colours for a 15-minute projection mapping show. Content was inspired by architect, Antoni Gaudí's original colour sketches and you can't help but feel this is how Gaudí imagined his unfinished masterpiece.
A team of twelve used Moment Factory’s own X-Agora software to control sound, light and video for the mesmerising show, played out to a crowd of 32,000 people.
Swiss company, Skynight provided technical support as 16 Christie Roadster projectors, 13 computers and 25 moving lights were employed for the highlight of a festival dubbed Barcelona’s biggest party.
