Wolves striker Rafa Mir says his former club Valencia refused to sell him to Real Madrid.

The European champions were in pursuit of the forward before Wolves surprisingly secured his signature earlier this month.

Mir, who signed a four-and-a-half year deal at Molineux, told Radio Valencia Cadena SER: “They (Valencia) rejected three or four offers from Real Madrid for me. However, they agreed to Wolverhampton’s first [offer] in December. Valencia didn’t want me to go to Real Madrid and they succeeded.”

Samir Nasri could leave Antalyaspor to join Mexican side Tigres this month, reports Todomercado.

Nasri ended his six-year stint at City back in August when he left the club to join Turkish outfit Antalyaspor.

However, he could be on the move again over the next few weeks, with Tigres reportedly interested in signing the Frenchman.

Arsene Wenger admits Francis Coquelin could leave the club in the January transfer window.
