Carlos Bacca’s agent says his client is “very happy” at Villarreal so they’ll “try to find a solution” with Milan.
The Colombian striker returned to Spain in the summer, in a €2.5m loan deal with a €15.5m option to buy.
The 31-year-old has seven goals and four assists in 20 Liga appearances so far this season, and is keen to make the move permanent.
“Carlos is very happy here in Spain,” Sergio Barila told MilanNews.
“He has adapted to the philosophy of the club and he’s scoring goals. Villarreal are very happy with Carlos’ performance.
“Besides pursuing important objectives, he’s contributing to the development of the youngsters with his experience, he’s a winning element within the squad.
“Bacca still has two years on his contract with Milan, we’ll work with the Rossoneri to try and find the best solution for everyone.
“He was happy in Milan, now he’s happy at Villarreal. We need to analyse everything and try to get the best thing for the player.”
