Inter Milan have hinted that Rafinha's future at the club depends on their ability to negotiate a lower fee with Barcelona.
The Brazil international joined Inter on loan from Barca in January on a short-term loan deal which includes a €35m purchase option.
Inter are happy with the midfielder’s performances but admit his future at the club is an economic issue.
Speaking to Premium Sport, Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio said: “His (Rafinha’s) case is a unique and exclusively economic issue. His continuity with us is an economic issue. We are very happy with Rafinha, as [we are] with [Joao] Cancelo.
“He has earned the confidence of the coaches and the fans. We know the commitment that we have with Barcelona, but until June 30 there is time to negotiate.”
