Word from Arsenal is talks with Flamengo over the Mari deal still ongoing. He was always due to head back to Rio at the end of the weekend after his medical. As stated on Saturday, club working on initial loan - Flamengo we know want a permanent deal.

Christian Eriksen is finalising his departure from Tottenham to Inter Milan in the next 24 hours.

Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta spoke about Eriksen’s potential move to Inter in an interview with DAZN before their 1-1 draw with Cagiari this afternoon.

He said: “You all know that we are negotiating with Tottenham.

"I am optimistic and I hope everything can be concluded quickly because the market closes on Friday and we hope to conclude the negotiations in the next few days."

PSV Eindhoven have confirmed to Sky Sports News that Tottenham have made an approach for Steven Bergwijn.

Bergwijn is not in PSV’s squad to face Twente this afternoon.

West Ham have had an offer for USA centre back Aaron Long rejected by New York Red Bulls today.
