Speaking to L’Ést Républicain, Ligue 2 side AS Nancy Lorraine’s President Jacques Rousselot confirmed advanced negotiations to sell the club to City Football Group, the current owners of Manchester City.

“As I have said publicly on several occasions, I have been speaking with possible buyers for a while. The sale of the club is advancing well and things have accelerated and intensified with the City Football Group, who are very sharp and very meticulous in their analysing of the club, we have to see. But it is premature to announce anything.”
