Lazio are negotiating a new and improved contract with defender Luiz Felipe, it’s reported, as he has become a target for Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

The 23-year-old Brazilian, whose full name is Luiz Felipe Ramos Marchi, joined the Aquile back in 2016, getting accustomed to Italy with a loan spell at Claudio Lotito’s other club, Salernitana.

He has become a regular in Simone Inzaghi’s back three and his current deal runs to June 2022.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Luiz Felipe only earns €500,000 per season, so naturally negotiations have begun to get him locked down to a better salary.

Media around Europe have already linked him with Barcelona and Bayern Munich, with a price-tag in the region of €35m.

Philippe Coutinho's agent Kia Joorabchian has good contacts at Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs. A move to those clubs is possible, but Barcelona would have to drop their asking price dramatically or it would have to be a loan with an option to buy deal. (@SkySportsNews)

Milan Škriniar has become a regular topic of discussion in the Italian media as the Inter Milan star continues to be linked with Manchester City.

The possibility of a swap deal involving the defender and João Cancelo was reportedly proposed, but this idea was dismissed by the Serie A side earlier this month.

According to Calciomercato, Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio are looking at players who could leave the San Siro in the summer.

It’s claimed Diego Godín has his suitcase ready to leave, but there’s a ‘small possibility’ of the defender extending his stay with the Nerazzurri.

For Godín to continue at Inter, ‘much will depend on’ the exit operations involving Mauro Icardi, Radja Nainggolan, Ivan Perišić (three players out on loan) and more importantly, Lautaro Martínez.

“I'm told, Myron Boadu, funnily enough a player who could've have signed for Arsenal when he was much younger. He had traveled to London & visited Colney and the stadium but decided to stay. He is now definitely one that the Arsenal hierarchy are really keen on''
