Roy Hodgson has admitted he would not welcome any late bids for Crystal Palace attacker Wilfried Zaha before Monday’s deadline.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from Selhurst Park during the last two seasons but has started the new Premier League campaign strongly with goals in the victories over Southampton and Manchester United.
"Well I have been told and I think Wilf has had it made clear to him that we are not interested in late bids,” Eagles boss Hodgson said.
"If it was going to happen, it would need to happen in a time frame which would give us a chance to see what we would want to do with the money.
"So close to the end of the transfer window, I would certainly hope it will not happen now and I want to continue working with him."
