    Luis Suarez has turned down offers from Brazil and Saudi Arabia as he would prefer to link up with former Liverpool team-mate Steven Gerrard at Aston Villa, according to reports in Spain.

    Gerrard has already spoken to Saurez, says Barcelona-based journalist Gerard Romero.

    Suarez's deal with Atletico Madrid runs out in the summer, meaning he is free to negotiate with foreign clubs.

    Robin Olsen has just signed his contract as new Aston Villa player. Medical successfully completed as announced yesterday.
    He joins on loan until the end of the season from AS Roma - Sheffield United approved the move days ago.

    Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has turned down an offer from Newcastle. A contract proposal worth €8M-per-season until 2025 has been rejected. There have been contacts between the parties, in recent days.

    Newcastle's €40m bid for Benoît Badiashile has been rejected. Monaco have told the Magpies they must pay more if they want to sign him this month.
    The deal has become more complicated after the defender suffered an injury earlier this month.
