    Manchester City have all paperworks ready for Kalvin Phillips deal with Leeds, medical already scheduled in order to announce the new signing soon. Also Stefan Ortega will be City player once Steffen joins Boro on loan.

    #Boro exercised an option to extend Djed Spence's contract by a year before his #NFFC loan move. It means his deal runs to 2024 and not 2023 as has been widely reported. Also means interested clubs can forget about pushing for discounted fee this summer.

    Understand Sunderland are close to signing two strikers, one of which is Will Grigg. Four bids placed already for Grigg and SAFC are hopeful. The second striker is unknown, but one man they’ve been looking closely at is Boro’s England U19 international Stephen Walker.
