L’Équipe report that a host of European elite have made contact to sign 18-year-old French youth international attacker Georginio Rutter from Rennes.

In Germany, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have all made contact for the teenager who has 12 months remaining on his current contract.

For the moment, the Frenchman is remaining coy with interested parties – to stay with Rennes, he is not expecting a guaranteed place in the starting XI, but he wants to at least know that he will get game time if he is to consider signing a contract extension with SRFC.

Newcastle United, Arsenal and AC Milan have all also made enquiries.

France Football report that Premier League side Watford have had initial offer turned down by Rennes for rapid Senegalese international winger Ismaïla Sarr.

Sarr is in the meantime attracting interest from two Spanish clubs that will be competing in European competition next season.

After spending €17m on the former Metz player in 2017, SRFC intend to recoup double their investment and are asking for at least €35m in order to part with the attacking talent.
