V jednačtyřicátém díle Audire se podíváme na zřejmě poslední „velký“ taneční styl, který vygeneroval samostatnou alternativní scénu – dubstep a grime. Probereme si jeho počátky na instrumentálních dubových b-stranách UK garage desek i z úhlu britského hiphopu a ukážeme si, jak to dopadlo, když své ducající kořeny objevili i drum’n’bassáci unavení vlastním techstepem. In the fourty-first installment of Audire we will take a look at the probably last of the „big“ dance styles which generated an alternative scene on its own – dubstep and grime. We’ll discuss its origins at instrumental dub b-sides of UK garage records and also from the point of British hiphop and we’ll show how does it end up when the drum’n’bass headz tired of their own tech steppers return back to their 4-to-the-floor roots. Její procházku po elektrické avenue svými DJ sety podpoří přednášející cyklu Audire RaveBoy alias The Messiah a kurátor cyklu Yukimura alias Mustakillah Sound.

On Saturday November the 13th, the fourth encounter of Summa Audire is going to take place, kickstarted by the next Audire regular, this time on trip-hop and Bristol sound. A special guest of the fourt Summa Audire will be Nika77, staple of the Prague’s club scene, who is going to dig through her vinyl record collection and introduce her own musical selection from the previous Audire sessions from the time before the world went wrong: techno of Frankfurt, Berlin, Detroit, New York, Belgium and Britain, trance and productions of WARP Records. Her walk on the electric avenue will be supported by the DJ sets of the host of Audire series RaveBoy alias The Messiah and the curator of the whole series Yukimura alias Mustakillah Sound.

Šestatřicátý díl Audire dokončí zářijový díl o drum’n‘bassu. Již jsme si představili reggae soundsystémové kořeny jungleu, belgické techno vlivy na darkside i fúze s jazzem a ambientem. Navážeme tedy samotnou definicí tohoto stylu, příchodem pokročilých konceptuálních forem, vrátíme se zpátky do podzemí a trochu přitvrdíme a rozloučíme se klinickým zvukem temného technoidního drum’n’bassu. The thirty-sixth installment of Audire is going to close off the September’s session about drum’n’bass. We’ve already introduced reggae soundsystem roots of jungle, Belgian techno influence on the darkside and also jazz and ambient fusions. We will follow up with the very definition of the style, with the advent of the more advanced conceptual forms, return back to the underground on a harder tip and will end off with the clinical sound of dark technoid drum’n’bass. Pětatřicátý díl Audire po malém červnovém speciálu o čísle 23 naváže na nedokončený díl z doby, kdy ještě nespadla klec. Tehdy jsme začali junglem a tentokrát dokončíme jedním z nejvlivnějších tanečních stylů devadesátých let – drum’n’bassem. Podíváme se na jeho darksideové kořeny, opepříme to špetkou jazzu a sladkých ploch a skončíme klinickým zvukem temného technoidního drum’n’bassu. Basama fousama!

The thirty-fifth installment of Audire, after the little June special about number 23, is going to follow up with an unfinished episode from the times when world not yet gone wrong. By then we started with jungle and this time we will end off with one of the most influential styles of the 1990s – drum’n’bass. We’ll take a look at its roots from the dark side, spice it up with a little of jazz flavour and sweet synth washes and bring it to the end with clinical sound of dark technoid drum’n’bass. In the thirty-second installment of Audire, we are returing back to breakbeat, begun before the break, and we will introduce the evoltuion of its new school.
