My memory is not so good. However the lead up and the after math of The Dubstep Warz show is as clear as yesterday.
People still want to talk about it and ask questions about it to this day. I'm sure one day some of the tales will surface and maybe @kode9 will dust off that old video camera he brought with him that night
Where do i start?
A true radio pioneer.
She took risks. She cared & took time.
Time to research to understand us as people, as producers & as a community.
She genuinely cared.
Cared about the finer details.
She wanted to represent & support our music accurately & authentically.
If I can be honest, not to be negative, but in an industry full of snakey flakey chancers and opportunists, very rarely will you meet someone with such pure & true intentions & qualities.
She supported us when no one else would.
At a time when magazines and other scenes laughed at what we were doing "its only gonna last 5 minutes" is what they would say.
I'm sure these are some of the reasons she is loved globally,
I have no doubt these are the reasons she still gets a wide range of exclusives from so many artists/producers.
A real solider in the field.
