US Delists MEK Terrorists So They Can Be Funded To Attack Iran

An Iranian group called MEK has been removed from the US government’s terrorist list so they can now be funded to launch covert ops against Iran.
Here we have an example of George Orwell’s famous doublethink at its finest.
The terrorist group MEK was listed as one of the reasons for invading Iraq.
MEK Listed as reason for invading Iraq
More recently the terrorist organization has been involved in the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists and several bombings in Iran which some say were covertly done through the Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency.
But now that an invasion of Iran is becoming ever closer by the day yet another enemy in the war on terror becomes our ally.
Now that the United States has delisted the MEK as an international terrorist group western companies and advocacy groups can now overtly fund the group to conduct terrorist attacks.
There are also reports the group was actually being trained inside the United States to conduct attacks against Iran before they were officially de-listed.
This unequivocally means we will soon see more and more terrorist acts be conducted against Iran.
These attacks will be spun by the corporate media echoing government propaganda claiming that ‘revolutionaries’ are staging a rebellion against a ruthless dictator.
This is the same story we were told in about Libya and Syria.
Make no mistake, this is the same thing as if Russia, China and Iran decided to ‘de-list’ Al Qaeda as a terrorist group.
Yet this group has played a critical role in providing the United States with reliable intelligence on Iran’s nuclear program.
Of course that intelligence really doesn’t differ from the 20 years of warnings that Iran will obtain nuclear weapons any moment.
But this time around things are certainly different as think tanks and military planners have drawn up full-scale war plans.
We have even been warned the use of low-yield nuclear weapons will be needed to take out Iran’s underground facilities.
Here’s RT take:
The group is responsible for killing several US military personnel and US civilians in the 1970s and it has also been linked to using terroristic violence against Iran.
So why isn’t this group considered a terrorist one anymore? Jamal Abdi of the National Iranian American Council joins RT’s Kristine Frazao to talk more about the State Department decision.
