In March 2007, ICA Japan was holding human development training in northern Vietnam. We had three days workshop with ethnic minority called "Hmong" talking about the village vision and future planning. On the second day of the training, we stoped by at one of the local house to have cup of tea. We met 15 years old girl, sitting on the floor. Her name was Nyuen. She said, she can't go to school because of her stomatch. Family member sold most of her furnature to take her to hospital in town . Town is 2.5 hours walk from their village. In the hospital, the doctor told them to go to bigger hospital in Hanoi.
ICA would like to seek for Nyen's support to take her to hospital. We can provide chance for her to get well and enjoy the education like other children.
