El Hornet (Pendulum) - Old Dubs Mix 2002-2008 (2017)
Sooo between about 2002 and 2008 most of us on the road used CDR's to DJ. It was kinda before Serato, after Dubplates finished and before USB Dj'ing existed. Somehow I managed to have kept nearly all the CD's I used to DJ back then, and after losing countless backup hard drives containing all the music I was sent back then, I still have these. I started the painstaking task of ripping the music back off of these CD's earlier this year. I estimate I've got about 3-400 full CD's and I got through about 1/8th of the ones that still actually play.
Here is a mix of some of those tunes that I remember playing out back then. Some are un-mastered. Some are probably unreleased. Some are definitely different versions to the final release.
The mix is more to show as much music as I could squeeze into 1 hour rather than how amazing a DJ I am ;)
These date from between 2002 and maybe mid 2007.
