Applied: First VeriChips sold in Europe

Palm Beach-based Applied Digital Solutions (Nasdaq: ADSX) said its VeriChip Corp. subsidiary has received a purchase order for 400 VeriChips and 34 handheld scanners from its distributor for Russia and Switzerland - the company's first sales in Europe.

The technology development firm said the distributor agreed to buy a total of 1,000 VeriChips and 100 scanners in 2003, as part of a five-year minimum purchase of 51,000 VeriChips and 2,600 scanners required to maintain its exclusivity.

About the size of a grain of rice, VeriChip is an under-the-skin, radio frequency identification microchip.

The Swiss-Russian distributor, RussGPS, has offices in Moscow and Zurich and operates throughout the former Soviet Union region.

The distributor's initial plans call for using VeriChip for its security-related and emergency identification applications.

Scandal: Wal-Mart, P&G Involved in Secret RFID Testing

American consumers used as guinea pigs for controversial technology

Do you have an RFID tag in your Lipfinity lipstick package? If you bought Lipfinity at a Broken Arrow Wal-Mart between late March and mid-July of 2003, you may. What's more, if you find one, it's probably live.

Wal-Mart and Procter & Gamble conducted a secret RFID trial involving Oklahoma consumers earlier this year, the Chicago Sun Times revealed on Sunday. Customers who purchased P&G's Lipfinity brand lipstick at the Broken Arrow Wal-Mart store between late March and mid-July unknowingly left the store with live RFID tracking devices embedded in the packaging. Wal-Mart had previously denied any consumer-level RFID testing in the United States.

"It proves what we've been saying all along," says Katherine Albrecht, Founder and Director of Consumers Against Supermarket Privacy Invasion and Numbering (CASPIAN). "Wal-Mart, Procter & Gamble and others have experimented on shoppers with controversial spy chip technology and tried to cover it up. Consumers and members of the press should be upset to learn that they've been lied to."

The Sun Times also reported that a live video camera trained on the shelf allowed Procter & Gamble employees, sometimes hundreds of miles away, to observe the Lipfinity display and consumers interacting with it.

"This trial is a perfect illustration of how easy it is to set up a secret RFID infrastructure and use it to spy on people,"
says Albrecht. "The RFID industry has been paying lip service to privacy concerns, calling for notice, choice and control. But companies like P&G, Wal-Mart and Gillette have already violated all three tenets when they thought nobody was looking. This is exactly why we oppose item-level RFID tagging and have called for mandatory labeling legislation."

Groups hoping for UN to run internet and ability to censor web sites

Posted on Tuesday, November 11 @ 03:22:30 EST by phaseiii

It's theatrics to say that they're going to "shelve" this idea... That's utter bull, they're simply waiting until people are more complacent (and who knows, maybe even blame the next CIA sponsored terror attack on the Internet) before they promote the UN to running the Internet. In the end, content such as this site, Post911Timeline.org, c0balt.com, InfoWars.com, PropagandaMatrix.com, etc. can all be censored... Most importantly, don't forget that the U.S. Senate is now leaving the option wide open for taxing the Internet. (http://feed.phaseiii.org/news/?1510)... They're working in conjunction to building up total control.

An attempt by developing countries to put management of the internet under United Nations auspices is likely to be shelved at next month's world information summit in Geneva - but the issue is now firmly on the international agenda, summit sources say.

Big Brother may soon be watching

    23.45PM GMT, 11 Nov 2003

Libby Wiener, ITV News political correspondent, reports from Westminster on the Home Secretary's latest comments on compulsory identity cards.

Is the government is about to introduce a Big Brother-style society with all sorts of information stored about us on a central database?

Well, I think the short answer at the moment is that we are moving some way towards that scenario.

This is not a compulsory scheme yet, but what will happen is that when we apply for a new passport or driving licence, we will have to get our fingerprints taken and an image of our eye.

That will be imprinted on the new document in a microchip. Effectively they will be ID cards.

Earlier today, David Blunkett, the Home Secretary made it very clear to me that he felt it was a short step from there to compulsory cards for all.

Mr Blunkett's opponents, including some in the cabinet, are hoping this scheme will simply fall by the wayside, unravelling as the details are unpicked.

He's hoping very much that it will get through. Because he knows that unless everyone has to have an ID card, what will happen is that the honest citizens among us will end up being on the database while the very people he's trying to target won't.

That is the terrorists, fraudsters and those working here illegally.

US wants ban on protests during Bush visit

    By Kim Sengupta

    12 November 2003

Anti-war protesters claim that US authorities have demanded a rolling "exclusion zone" around President George Bush during his visit, as well as a ban on marches in parts of central London.

The Stop The War Coalition said yesterday that it had been told by the police that it would not be allowed to demonstrate in Parliament Square and Whitehall next Thursday - a ban it said it was determined to resist. The coalition says that it has also been told by British officials that American officials want a distance kept between Mr Bush and protesters, for security reasons and to prevent their appearance in the same television shots.

Book: U.S. Military Drafted Plans to Terrorize U.S. Cities to Provoke War With Cuba

    By David Ruppe

N E W Y O R K, May 1 — In the early 1960s, America's top military leaders reportedly drafted plans to kill innocent people and commit acts of terrorism in U.S. cities to create public support for a war against Cuba.

Code named Operation Northwoods, the plans reportedly included the possible assassination of Cuban émigrés, sinking boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, hijacking planes, blowing up a U.S. ship, and even orchestrating violent terrorism in U.S. cities.
The plans were developed as ways to trick the American public and the international community into supporting a war to oust Cuba's then new leader, communist Fidel Castro.

America's top military brass even contemplated causing U.S. military casualties, writing: "We could blow up a U.S. ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba," and, "casualty lists in U.S. newspapers would cause a helpful wave of national indignation."

Details of the plans are described in Body of Secrets (Doubleday), a new book by investigative reporter James Bamford about the history of America's largest spy agency, the National Security Agency. However, the plans were not connected to the agency, he notes.

The plans had the written approval of all of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and were presented to President Kennedy's defense secretary, Robert McNamara, in March 1962. But they apparently were rejected by the civilian leadership and have gone undisclosed for nearly 40 years.

"These were Joint Chiefs of Staff documents. The reason these were held secret for so long is the Joint Chiefs never wanted to give these up because they were so embarrassing," Bamford told ABCNEWS.com.

"The whole point of a democracy is to have leaders responding to the public will, and here this is the complete reverse, the military trying to trick the American people into a war that they want but that nobody else wants."

    Gunning for War

The documents show "the Joint Chiefs of Staff drew up and approved plans for what may be the most corrupt plan ever created by the U.S. government," writes Bamford.

The Joint Chiefs even proposed using the potential death of astronaut John Glenn during the first attempt to put an American into orbit as a false pretext for war with Cuba, the documents show.

Should the rocket explode and kill Glenn, they wrote, "the objective is to provide irrevocable proof … that the fault lies with the Communists et all Cuba [sic]."

The plans were motivated by an intense desire among senior military leaders to depose Castro, who seized power in 1959 to become the first communist leader in the Western Hemisphere — only 90 miles from U.S. shores.

The earlier CIA-backed Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba by Cuban exiles had been a disastrous failure, in which the military was not allowed to provide firepower. The military leaders now wanted a shot at it.

"The whole thing was so bizarre," says Bamford, noting public and international support would be needed for an invasion, but apparently neither the American public, nor the Cuban public, wanted to see U.S. troops deployed to drive out Castro.

Reflecting this, the U.S. plan called for establishing prolonged military — not democratic — control over the island nation after the invasion.

"That's what we're supposed to be freeing them from," Bamford says. "The only way we would have succeeded is by doing exactly what the Russians were doing all over the world, by imposing a government by tyranny, basically what we were accusing Castro himself of doing."

    'Over the Edge'

The Joint Chiefs at the time were headed by Eisenhower appointee Army Gen. Lyman L. Lemnitzer, who, with the signed plans in hand made a pitch to McNamara on March 13, 1962, recommending Operation Northwoods be run by the military.

Whether the Joint Chiefs' plans were rejected by McNamara in the meeting is not clear. But three days later, President Kennedy told Lemnitzer directly there was virtually no possibility of ever using overt force to take Cuba, Bamford reports. Within months, Lemnitzer would be denied another term as chairman and transferred to another job.

The secret plans came at a time when there was distrust in the military leadership about their civilian leadership, with leaders in the Kennedy administration viewed as too liberal, insufficiently experienced and soft on communism. At the same time, however, there real were concerns in American society about their military overstepping its bounds.

There were reports U.S. military leaders had encouraged their subordinates to vote conservative during the election.

And at least two popular books were published focusing on a right-wing military leadership pushing the limits against government policy of the day. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee published its own report on right-wing extremism in the military, warning a "considerable danger" in the "education and propaganda activities of military personnel" had been uncovered. The committee even called for an examination of any ties between Lemnitzer and right-wing groups. But Congress didn't get wind of Northwoods, says Bamford.

"Although no one in Congress could have known at the time," he writes, "Lemnitzer and the Joint Chiefs had quietly slipped over the edge."

Even after Lemnitzer was gone, he writes, the Joint Chiefs continued to plan "pretext" operations at least through 1963.

One idea was to create a war between Cuba and another Latin American country so that the United States could intervene. Another was to pay someone in the Castro government to attack U.S. forces at the Guantanamo naval base — an act, which Bamford notes, would have amounted to treason. And another was to fly low level U-2 flights over Cuba, with the intention of having one shot down as a pretext for a war.

"There really was a worry at the time about the military going off crazy and they did, but they never succeeded, but it wasn't for lack of trying," he says.

    After 40 Years

Ironically, the documents came to light, says Bamford, in part because of the 1992 Oliver Stone film JFK, which examined the possibility of a conspiracy behind the assassination of President Kennedy.

As public interest in the assassination swelled after JFK's release, Congress passed a law designed to increase the public's access to government records related to the assassination.

The author says a friend on the board tipped him off to the documents.

Afraid of a congressional investigation, Lemnitzer had ordered all Joint Chiefs documents related to the Bay of Pigs destroyed, says Bamford. But somehow, these remained.

    http://abcnews.go.com/sections/us/DailyNews/jointchiefs_010501.html

"The scary thing is none of this stuff comes out until 40 years after," says Bamford.

New world order needed to cushion the poor—Mbeki

    Tawanda Majoni

There is need for a new world order that would ensure peace, development and respect for human rights, says South African president, Thabo Mbeki.

In his weekly statement published by the ruling African National Congress, Mbeki also expressed bitterness that there were rich nations that were trying to perpetuate poverty in the developing world for their own selfish gains.

“It is we, the poor and not the rich, who need a new world order based on a new multilateralism for peace, security, sustainable development, social justice, democracy, respect for human rights and gender equality,” said Mbeki.

Mbeki made these remarks in the wake of the South African government’s participation at a congress organised by the Socialist International (SI), which met in Sao Paolo in Brazil last week. T o page 2From page 1 The organisation is a global movement of social democratic, socialist and labour parties. It is the world’s largest organisation of political parties, with the majority of its membership being part of alliances with mass and lobby movements such as trade unions and representatives organisations of the youth, women and the religious community.

    Clinton's Global Community

    By Dave Franklin on 11/09/03
    Printer friendly version

Answering a question at the Kennedy Center on October 27, impeached ex-President Bill Clinton told a gathering of corporate executives what he wanted to see in Iraq. "I wish that the United Nations could have overall responsibility for the security and then ask NATO to be the instrument of it," Clinton said. Well, aren't we lucky to have a former President who still likes to spout off about what he would do if he were in power, despite a tradition of previous ex-Presidents who had the decency to stay out of the way.

In his opening comments, Clinton had already told the audience how much he admired the first President Bush's use of the phrase, "New World Order", saying he often liked to use those words to describe his strategy for eliminating "chaos" in a "global community". After touting his accomplishments in establishing the WTO, expanding NATO, seeing greater authority of the European Union, and getting "a commitment for the Free Trade Area of the Americas", Clinton bragged about how a global “interdependence" he helped bring about created insecurity.

That's where Bubba thinks George H.W. Bush's "New World Order" comes in, to create security for one-world "interdependency". But there are some problems associated with Billy's hope for global government, and they aren't just centered on the vast corruption that infects elite international enterprises.
If that were all there is to it, no problem -- Clintonites know how to sugarcoat public cynicism spawning from raw arrogance of global fraud.

Consider Clinton's friend Terry McAullife, chairman of the imploding Democratic Party. He knows about globalist hanky-panky through his experience in trading shares of the since bankrupt telecommunications company, Global Crossing. These guys know how to "get away with it". But even Bill Clinton has to agree that his one-world vision, with all of its potential global con-artistry, stands contrary to political reality in the 21st Century.

Republicans, under President George W. Bush (a.k.a. Forty-three), seem to have gotten the "no-NWO" memo. Not once since inauguration on January 21, 2001 has any senior elected Republican repeated the phrase, "new world order". Regardless of how much the global elite attempted to discredit people who do not live in the global village (rather, we live in towns and cities across our country), Americans are now realizing how globalization threatens their freedom.

And insiders in the GOP, friends of this once-Republican-turned-Constitutionalist writer, have said there is a split, a deep struggle in the President's party. There are many Republicans who object to the surrender of national sovereignty. Then there are those (seeming lately to be in minority, though still holding key positions of GOP power) who still believe in the first Bush's NWO. The latter group, having largely been silenced, maintains their quiet hold on authority. But the former group is comprised of grass roots and cannot be ignored.

Simply put, no matter how much they admire the President, average Republican voters don't agree with open borders, unfair trade, or surrendering the Constitution to the UN. George W. Bush will not turn completely one hundred and eighty degrees against his supporters in an election cycle. And he may be having his own doubts about his father's "New World Order". There are signs of hope.

SAN FRANCISCO, A group of East Bay activists showed up at San Francisco movie theaters yesterday to distribute red pills, or New World Order matrix cards, to Matrix Revolutions’ moviegoers. The activists, known as Neo, Morpheus, Trinity and Agent Smith, hit the Loews and the Coronet theaters with exhortations for people to “take the red pill” and “learn about the REAL matrix that we live in”.

The cards list twenty websites where people can learn about the New World Order -- the World Bank, the neo-cons, privatization, militarization, enemy creation and the corporate media -- and how these bodies and agents are working for social and structural control the world and crafting the scenarios to make it happen.

People in the lines enthusiastically started reading the cards including a Trinity Trio, three women dressed in patent leather and dark sunglasses, who instantly got the connection between the movie and the cards. “Oh, we know we are living in another matrix. These are wonderful,” one Trinity said about the cards.

    AUTOMATIC PILOT AND 9.11 - An expert’s opinion http://www.newsmakingnews.com/911automaticpilot.htm

A group of military and civilian US pilots, under the chairmanship of Colonel Donn de Grand, after deliberating non-stop for 72 hours, has concluded that the flight crews of the four passenger airliners, involved in the September 11th tragedy, had no control over their aircraft.

In a detailed press communiqué the inquiry stated: “The so-called terrorist attack was in fact a superbly executed military operation carried out against the USA, requiring the utmost professional military skill in command, communications and control. It was flawless in timing, in the choice of selected aircraft to be used as guided missiles and in the coordinated delivery of those missiles to their pre-selected targets.”

The report seriously questions whether or not the suspect hijackers, supposedly trained on Cessna light aircraft, could have located a target dead-on 200 miles from take off point. It further throws into doubt their ability to master the intricacies of the instrument flight rules (IFR) in the 45 minutes from take off to the point of impact. Colonel de Grand said that it would be impossible for novices to have taken control of the four aircraft and orchestrated such a terrible act requiring military precision of the highest order.

A member of the inquiry team, a US Air Force officer who flew over 100 sorties during the Vietnam war, told the press conference: “Those birds (commercial airliners) either had a crack fighter pilot in the left seat, or they were being maneuvered by remote control.”

In evidence given to the enquiry, Captain Kent Hill (retd.) of the US Air Force, and friend of Chic Burlingame, the pilot of the plane that crashed into the Pentagon, stated that the US had on several occasions flown an unmanned aircraft, similar in size to a Boeing 737, across the Pacific from Edwards Air Force base in California to South Australia. According to Hill it had flown on a pre programmed flight path under the control of a pilot in an outside station.

Suppressed Details of Criminal Insider Trading lead directly into the CIA`s Highest Ranks

CIA Executive Director "Buzzy" Krongard managed Firm that handled "put" Options on UAL

    by Michael C. Ruppert
    FTW Publications, 9 October 2001
Centre for Research on Globalisation, globalresearch.ca, 20 October 2001

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although uniformly ignored by the mainstream U.S. media, there is abundant and clear evidence that a number of transactions in financial markets indicated specific (criminal) foreknowledge of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. That evidence also demonstrates that, in the case of at least one of these trades -- which has left a $2.5 million prize unclaimed -- the firm used to place the "put options" on United Airlines stock was, until 1998, managed by the man who is now in the number three Executive Director position at the Central Intelligence Agency. Until 1997 A.B. "Buzzy" Krongard had been Chairman of the investment bank A.B. Brown. A.B. Brown was acquired by Banker's Trust in 1997. Krongard then became, as part of the merger, Vice Chairman of Banker's Trust-AB Brown, one of 20 major U.S. banks named by Senator Carl Levin this year as being connected to money laundering. Krongard's last position at Banker's Trust (BT) was to oversee "private client relations." In this capacity he had direct hands-on relations with some of the wealthiest people in the world in a kind of specialized banking operation that has been identified by the U.S. Senate and other investigators as being closely connected to the laundering of drug money.
