Autour de Martinů
Sound artist and vinyl wizard Graham Dunning meets long-time collaborator Bobby Barry in a unique live-improvised performance
inspired by the oeuvre of 20th century composer Bohuslav Martinů. It is a sublime, eerie homage to the Czech composer,
long-forgotten (or never discovered) Czech film dialogues, combined with slightly obscure mysterious sound collages based on
Martinů’s piano piece Film en miniature. The set was also recorded and released on a limited edition tape earlier this year.

Watch techno get physical in Graham Dunning's exquisite set-up built of broken vinyl records, ping pong balls, cowbells and
cymbals, layering up along groove records, and analogue synths. The technique is extremely delicate, resulting often in unexpected
sounds, noises and whole patterns being produced as an aftermath of physical objects colliding against each other.
