Tattoo cirkus je DIY festival oslavující svobodu a kreativitu, který se zrodil ze spolupráce nezávislých umělců. Ti se v roce 2007, kdy byl festival poprvé představen v Římě, rozhodli upozornit na soudní procesy politických vězňů, problémy lidí v detenčních centrech a problematiku vězeňského systému jako takového.
V Praze se letos bude Tattoo Circus konat počtvrté. Naváže tak nejen na předešlé pražské ročníky (2016 – Žižkostel, 2017 – Eternia, 2018 – Klinika), ale především na tradici dalších měst jako je Berlín, Barcelona, Lausanne, Londýn, Soluně, Kairo…
Na festivalu se i letos seznámíte s jednotlivými případy politických vězňů, budete jim moci napsat solidární dopis a obecně vyjádřit svou podporu. Mimo to budete již tradičně mít možnost nechat se potetovat skvělými tatéry z různých koutů světa, shlédnout performery, přijít na promítání nebo se zúčastnit diskuzí a workshopů, poslechnout si živé kapely a přednášky, zapařit na DJ’s party, a mnoho dalšího. Nedílnou součástí festivalu budou samozřejmě distra a každodenní veganské občerstvení.
Veškerý výtěžek z festivalu putuje na podporu politických vězňů.

Tattoo Circus is a DIY festival achieved through the collaboration of artists who use creativity to unite people in the anti-prison struggle. It celebrates self-expression whilst exploring the politics of freedom.
You can expect to meet there tattoo artists and performers who use their creativity to bring awareness to the plight of those incarcerated and oppressed under the laws of coercive governments. All of the money collected during the event goes to organisations supporting political prisoners on the inside and outside.
We have been organising tattoo circus in Prague since 2016, thanks to the inspiration of all those mega folk behind tattoo circus here and in Barcelona, Lausanne, London and Berlin (to mention just a few), and not forgetting the original in Rome, 2007!
The festival will provide space to get informed about prisoners and their struggles, and the wider anti-prison movement. You can read about individuals, write letters of solidarity and generally just support the cause how you can.
For the rest, we will introduce in the coming weeks, but expect live bands and DJs, theater, films, lectures, discussion, distro, and some top quality food and drinks.

RATATATATA! Máme tu program na zbytek festivalu! A že je nabitý! Krom úžasných tatérů je nám ctí uvítat skvělé a odvážné performery a cirkusáky, hudebníky napříč žánry, DJs z různých koutů světa, nevídané workshopy. Krom klasického baru budou i speciální benefit drinky po celý festival a k tomu nechutně dobré veganské jídlo!!!

Beside amazing tattoo artists, we are happy to host incredible and courageous performers, music artists across different genres, DJs from all around the world and unconventional workshops! Apart from a regular bar, we will have special benefit drinks during the whole festival and terribly good vegan food!!!
