FROHIKEY: dost záleží na tom, jakej neumětel to VBR dostane do pazourů...pokud někdo soudnej, tak je VBR fakt jasná volba :)

SUBDRUM47: ne nutne usetris misto s VBR. VBR je rozhodne kvalitnejsi nez treba CBR 192. uz jen to, ze vetsinou maj ABR 210-230. zalezi samozrejme na settings ktery pouzijes. vetsinou se pouzivaj tzv. APS (app settings standard), ktery podle testu davaj nejlepsi vysledky. vetsina CBR-ek je 192, coz nejsem zadnej mastodont, kterej mi nejak naramne resil kvalitu mp3, ale ta mi casto nestaci.

btw zrovna posloucham subnet012 a je to prijemne techno s prvky trancu.

SUBDRUM47: VBR je rozhodne kvalitnejsi, jednotlivy tracky jako CBR - pricinu spis vidim v moznosti streamovat, za a) je to konstantni bitrate, tedy lip se odhadne zda to bude stihat nebo ne b) aby si zjistil treba prumernej bitrate, musis nacist celou mp3 a projit vsechny framy...

[Miga13] Naïfloop "Two colours"



Our fetish artist comes back! The new release from Naïfloop for Miga makes shorter the waiting time for his second LP, expected for 2007. [Miga13] "Two Colours" is a compilation of his very first demos ("Some seconds from", "Hearst" and "Identity") coming from 1997-2000 period. Seminal and instrumental versions from some tracks that later would be part of [Miga 04] "Between" and some others ruled out from his first album and rescued from the old trunk.

Four track electronic music, very few use of software and with his particular arsenal of analogic synths, casiotone loops, organ & rhythm pads. This is the first B sides of Naïfloop and also the first B sides from Miga, rescued due to its special lo-fi charm and its non temporal beauty.

There are few words for the good sound but there is no excuse for a bad sound. So where is SOMOS going? For the few words i hope, for the classic vocoder punch lines and some oldschool glamour. Christian Cedron

Christian Cedron: this anglo peruvian producer, musician and dj, started off playing in the beggining of the 90s new wave, experimental and punk bands, and djing that music. as a producer, apart from my own project of minimal-experimental-techno music, have participated in films and short films adding sountrack. as a musician, plays guitars, bass, keyboards and plays in bands like WONDERFOOL COSMETICS (www.myspace.com/wonderfoolcosmetics) and Les Travestis(www.myspace.com/lestravestis). Influence is my bloody valentine. as a d.j. I promote my own klub called FREQUENZ in calle Ballesta 14 madrid as well as resident of Vektrum and a monthly residence in OUI(calle marques d sta ana). Has played in RIO and N.B.I. (berlin),OchoyMedio, Arena, Radio, Cassete,etc (Madrid), Barcelona, Marbella, London. style= minimal, techno. also has djed for exhibitions in museums, art galleries,etc.

Alvaro Cabana

Alvaro Cabana: DJ since 1997, started out playing small clubs in down town Madrid. From the very beginning, he showed his personal flavour for electonic groovy music, from Detroit Techno to American and European House. In 2000 he's seen behind the counter at Atlas Records, the best known and most influential record shop at the time in Madrid. At the same time, starts his residencies as clubs such as Stars Café, XXY or Coppelia, which spread his name around, in the meantime having played in virtually every trendy club with electronic music in town. From 2004 on, more residencies include the renowned Rubble, Crash and finally Mondo, where he is currently found. At Mondo he is weekly seen sharing the decks with names such as Ivan Smagghe, Michael Mayer, Damian Lazarus, Roman Flügel, Kiki and lots more, which has taken him on the road every week to clubs and events such as Freezer in Benicassim, Villa Rouge in Montpellier and lots of spots across Spain.
As a producer, he put out music for Spanish labels Scuba Dive, Invader, Coconut Groove and the forthcoming Mad Electronics, alongside Mondo DJ and promoter Gerardo Niva. His style has always remained true to the groove, with disco and funk influences, but keeping close touch with the electronic feel.

[sss042] Edgar 9000 presents 'Cluster Shiftings Ep'



This is our first collaboration with Pino Grzybowsky,
a long time friend of Sweet Smelling Surfaces.
We tried to organise a Dr.Scissors' release
at the early stage of our netlabel but it was quite difficult
to make all agendas coincide, but we kept on
expecting proposing some of Pino's music on SSS.

During a visit to Munich in August 2006,
I had the chance to meet Pino for real and a few days after
we shook hands he sent me the tracks of his new project,
Edgar 9000.

[EARXP07] - Project Swirl - Connected EP

Project Swirl was created to make loops for my radio show @ TPR web
radio. After a few months some full length tracks were outlined. This
spring 10-12 tracks were completed. Before summer we started to master
them with my friend. After my holidays I started to find netlabels to
release them.

My style is mostly minimal / experimental, but - referring to my
ceased project - I like to take by-passes to other styles, like
electro. But I think you can feel my minimal minded thinking on these
tracks : )

I will have some other releases in the last quarter of 2006. A 4 track
EP will come out in a spanish minimal net label. One of my tracks will
come out in a russian net compilation. And after them I will have a 4
track EP in a portuguese net label.
