A je tady znova, amik Sublamp a krajic jeho zivota zaznamenany na kazetach magnetofonu. Bohuzel trochu kratky vylet do Boulder Colorado...



Early recordings made between 1999-2000. I spent a lot of time when I was living in Boulder Colorado exploring the city with a cassette recorder. Each track on Triksy Lights is constructed around one or more of these field recordings, then layered with synth drones. This is the original version of the album, as it was meant to be heard.

Ve sve dobe vzbudil tento mix nebyvaly ohlas, nejen ze spojil do te doby nerdovskou IDM/experimentalni scenu s techno smazkama, ale snad poprve zde byl pouzit ke spojovani tracku pouze software Ableton live. Dnes uz se clovek jen pousmeje nad vyberem interpretu, ale porad fascinuje svym poutavym pribehem. Pro ty, co jeste neslyseli, musthave a pro ty, co slyseli, vyssi bitrate rozhodne potesi.

Docela pekna ambientni session ktera se zvrtla ze sedmi minut na skoro hodinu :)



as promised, here is an edit of a few parts from the unrecongizable now/oo-ray session from sunday. matt is playing guitar + xylophone, ted is playing cello + laptop and i am playing baritone guitar, monome and laptop. it was kind of nice to listen back to this after a few days and hear so much nice stuff that i don’t even remember hearing the first time. i guess sometimes you almost get put in a trance when you are creating music like this where it all becomes a blur. i think that i kind of enjoy that.

WAKO: podle docela velkeho napisu game over to asi opravdu zabalili, detaily jsou mi bohuzel nezname...

nevíte někdo co je s Amenoreou? to totálně zabalili?

BARONFRITZ: nj, je to tak no... ber to tak, jako by si uz po treti videl dobrej film a podivas se na neho i po ctvrte ikdyz je porad stejny :)) Ale me osobne by to asi uz dost sralo, kdybych 2 roky hral to samy....

UNCLEAN: no na mě z toho dýchlo akorát tak přesně to co jsem viděl na loňském spermu.. a jakože byetona mám rád celkem.. ale jestliže vystupuje rok a půl úplně stejně (a tím myslím i projekci .. nevím ejslti byla do puntíku stejná, ale koncept byl víseméně stejný ) tak mi to přijde trochu smutný..

COH - FUNNY VIDEO INTERVIEW

Pro ty, kdo nesleduji muj Facebook newsfeed tady mam takovou chutovku...

A friend just showed this to me - I never saw the video! The interview was done some time last year, over Skype from my studio. I already forgot I did this.. it was some kind of organisation on the web that interviews people of different ["creative"?] occupation, I think.. I don't know why I was chosen, judging by the pictures they found COH myspace profile. The interviewer was an extremely friendly girl, which is probably why I agreed to answer the questions - they had absolutely no clue as to what I had released and after the interview I even forgot to supply them with the background music for the video. I remember the questions being extremely generic, like "how do you make music" and "what is your inspiration", "show us your most recent release".. finishing off with "your message to the world" or something! All in all - quite amusing. Looking at it now, I laugh but I also think I did quite well taken the circumstances! So.. I hope it makes you feel at least a bit as entertained as I feel!
