    Leftover Love is the third album from Helsinki based electronic music producer Recue after his successful releases on Rednetic and netlabel One. It is a collection of tracks he has made throughout the years under his alias. The common element of the tracks is that they were not originally made for one specific release. They are live tracks, sound design experiments, Sunday afternoon jams and the forgotten gems in the hard drive of his studio. The fact that all of the tracks are made for a different purpose, at a different time, even years apart, makes the release truly an interesting listen. It forms a logical journey through Recues production with his distinct style binding the pieces

    This is a 100% vinyl mix from Type boss John Twells (aka Xela) and Barge Records boss Ian Lawrence. The two Greater Boston residents came together to create Spectral Rehab, a monthly night at Central Square’s River Gods bar, playing a sprawling selection of haunted off-world pop music and gurgling drones. The mix is a sort of mission statement, blending Ian’s love of dub and post-punk with John’s rap and noise cravings to come up with an endearing splatter of fine tunes. If you’re in the Boston area, get on down, have a drink and enjoy the selections.

    Dadavistic Orchestra - Dokument .01



    Dokument .01 is a very special release for us, since it showcases our love for dadaism and all that it inspired.

    Dokument .01 features two tracks of beatless inner city industrial ambient. Strung Valve Checkout is a gorgeous 11 minute sequence of piano-fuelled drones. Dada Fish Sticks is equally affecting, a lulling industrial classical mesh of sound with hints of melody.

    What makes this release particularly special is the combination of talents behind the music. Dadavistic Orchestra is a collaboration between The Black Dog and 3 former members of The Psychick Warriors of Gaia. Both are recognised innovators in electronic music who have been hugely influential and popular throughout their careers. The two collectives have been close for many years, and their musical collaboration has evolved over the last year, with Dokument .01 being the first work to be released.

    Dadavistic Orchestra are Martin Dust, Tim Freeman, Richard Dust, Arbe, Ken Downie and Robbert Heijnen.
