    Slovo “dzogčhen” je z tibetštiny překládáno jako “úplná dokonalost”. Jeho význam odkazuje k pravé přirozenosti všech bytostí, k jejich “prvotnímu stavu”. Tento stav je od počátku svobodný a nezávislý na všech omezeních a podmíněnostech
