Chelsea owner Roman Abrahimovic ‘dreams’ of appointing Napoli’s Maurizio Sarri as his manager, according to Gianfranco Zola’s agent.

“Chelsea are among the clubs that have approached Sarri,” he told Radio Crc.

“The news has put forward Zola as a sporting director, a role that is difficult to place in England.

“Sarri as manager would be Abramovich’s dream, but I don’t know anything about this because I’m not fussed about the Napoli Coach.

“On Zola, however, I can say that Chelsea have yet to contact us.”

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly failed in a sensational double swoop for Roma pair Alisson and Patrik Schick last month.

According to Parisunited, PSG sporting director Antero Henrique contacted Roma counterpart Monchi, initially to discuss Schick.

The Spaniard would then have quoted Henrique €60m, having only signed the striker last summer for a club-record €42m.

The website adds the Portuguese then enquired about Alisson, only to be knocked back as the Giallorossi ended January by negotiating the sales of Emerson Palmieri and Edin Dzeko to Chelsea.

Carlos Bacca’s agent says his client is “very happy” at Villarreal so they’ll “try to find a solution” with Milan.

The Colombian striker returned to Spain in the summer, in a €2.5m loan deal with a €15.5m option to buy.

The 31-year-old has seven goals and four assists in 20 Liga appearances so far this season, and is keen to make the move permanent.

“Carlos is very happy here in Spain,” Sergio Barila told MilanNews.

“He has adapted to the philosophy of the club and he’s scoring goals. Villarreal are very happy with Carlos’ performance.

“Besides pursuing important objectives, he’s contributing to the development of the youngsters with his experience, he’s a winning element within the squad.

“Bacca still has two years on his contract with Milan, we’ll work with the Rossoneri to try and find the best solution for everyone.

“He was happy in Milan, now he’s happy at Villarreal. We need to analyse everything and try to get the best thing for the player.”

Inter have reportedly had a €20m bid for Lautaro Martinez knocked back by Racing Club, but there’s optimism a deal will be completed.

Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio was in Argentina to watch the striker at the weekend, and he scored a hat-trick in a 4-0 win over Huracan.

It’s widely reported the a deal is almost done, but TyC Sport is reporting that the Beneamata’s first bid of €20m was knocked back.

Negotiations are continuing, however, and both sides are optimistic that a deal will be agreed.
