DRAGON: předpokládám, že tam asi mají nějaké kamery a nějak je tam takové zastavení nepobouřilo ;-)
Ale ten čas bez jakéhokoliv auta mne překvapil, asi nějaký víken a/nebo mimo špičku, protože jinak se udává denní využití nějakých 6tis. průjezdů denně.
Btw. četl sem někde, že:
Mr MacNeil said: “Tunnels in the Faroes pay for themselves. Initially, loans are taken out from international banks which are then paid back by the tolls received from the tunnels, typically over 15 years, and this ends up being cheaper than purchasing and running a ferry for a similar period. The tunnels, effectively over the 15-year period, pay for themselves.”A nedávno čerstvě otevřený
11 kilometre Sandoy sub-sea tunnel in the Faroe islands, Bored through basalt, will be paid for by tolls on just 310 vehicles per day. The population on Sandoy is just 1,300...
...another 11 kilometre Faroese tunnel, the Eysturoy Tunnel has 6,000 vehicle usages per day. The tolls of both tunnels average around £6 per way. The tunnel projects are paid for solely by tolls. The Faroe islands are autonomous, outside of the EU. The revenue for both tunnels is estimated at £13 million per annum.A jsem zvědav na ten Suðuroyartunnilin (pokud se ho ještě dožiji, ale při jejich tempu mám šanci velmi slušnou)...
