Digitakt II OS 1.02 arrives with a number of performance improvements and fixes, one of which addresses an issue with the +Drive when reaching a certain capacity that could lead to sample unpredictability.
The +Drive issue affected a small number of people who have imported a significant number of GBs of samples. A problem occurred that could lead to crashes and/or faulty samples. Updating the OS will fix the aforementioned problems and prevent any future occurrence.
Please update Transfer to 1.8.10 or later before updating your OS.
After you install the new OS and restart your machine a file check will automatically commence.
For most, the OS update will continue as normal once that check is complete.
The file check may identify a problem and issue further instructions to:
Backup your project with Transfer
Format the +Drive samples
Then Transfer your projects back to your device
All done!
