In the guide I went for the Assassin vocation so we could max out our strength by going Fighter for the first 10 levels and then Assassin until max level. That gives us the maximum base strength possible in the game.
If you want to have maximum Magick power however you can follow this guide all the way to the Dark Bishop, the only difference being that you start the game as a Mage and switch to Sorcerer at level 10. After that I can't really help as I don't have any particular strategy to level up fast as a Sorecer but by following the guide you should at least be level 60 at that point.
You may have noticed I decided to make my character as big as possible, that's because Height and Weight play a big role in Dragon's Dogma. By having a heavy character you get extra starting stamina, extra carry weight(really important), lower stamina consumption(good later in the game) and higher stagger resistance. By having a taller character you get faster walking speed(running speed never changes) and higher reach on your weapons, it also makes throwing throwblasts easier in the early game.
The total time it took me to reach 200 was 2 hours and 41 minutes as seen on the video. I do believe this time can be largely reduced as I took many unnecessary steps that only makes the run easier so if you're bolder than me you can make it much faster. I also wasted some good time looting way more than the necessary so there's that and finally I wasted a lot of time walking because my stamina was low so if you buy some mushrooms early on you can speed up the run significantly as well.
